I admit I liked to listen to Journey growing up (insert sheepish grin). I just can't imagine what Journey would sound like without Steve Perry's vocals? Maybe, I might like their sound. Who knows? Arnel Pineda was in the band "ZOO", which was a "Journey" cover band. So while Arnel may not have to strain to sound like Steve Perry, that is definitely the sound tried for - it was his bread and butter prior to joining up with the true "Journey". I'm not complaining, however. I love "Journey" and their style of music. I saw them, with Steve Perry, several times live - and they never disappointed. Good music to listen to with someone you love.
